Enjoyed the Japanese-style breakfast and the magical garden. The location is perfect for exploring the city.
The rooms are overpriced and need a refurbishment. Not recommended for families with young children as the staff is rude and incompetent.

We had a marvelous stay in this hotel. The staff was great, friendly and they even looked after our luggage. We enjoyed the traditional food, all 12 courses of it, and the breakfast in our room was good. The location was perfect, close to many sights and in a charming Gion neighborhood.
Nothing negative to say.

The traditional Japanese experience was memorable. the well-decorated garden and the spacious rooms were incredible. the personalized service provided by the staff was impeccable. the Kaiseki dinner included 12 courses, and there were seasonal specialties for breakfast.
The lack of modern amenities was a bit of a letdown, but that is also part of the traditional Japanese experience. the hotel's location was a little far from the nearest train station.

This hotel is the epitome of luxury! the exclusive amenities provided in the room, including the private facilities, surpassed all my expectations. the service was exceptional, with staff accommodating my every need.
The room felt a bit old and could benefit from some upgrading. But, this was a minor issue in comparison to all the luxurious needs fulfilled by the hotel.
